RESISTANCE TRAINING IS CRITICAL FOR WEIGHT LOSS

The importance of resistance training.

Resistance training is necessary for improving overall Fitness. After age 25 you begin losing muscle unless you are working to build it. Beginning at age 25 people lose muscle naturally every decade. If you aren’t building muscle you are most likely losing it. Without resistance training your muscles will atrophy.

BENEFITS OF RESISTANCE TRAINING

  • Build muscles which will burn more calories
  • Stops muscle loss and helps begin the rebuilding process
  • creates 25% more after burn than aerobic exercise
  • prevents the skinny fat look
  • makes you a better all-around athlete
  • reduces blood pressure making your heart stronger
  • decreases blood sugar which helps prevent insulin resistance
  • causes the tendons to grow deeper into your bones reducing the chance for tearing
  • prevent decay of the pads between your bones so you do not hurt when you move
  • Improved balance and coordination
  • Increases bone density creating a strong stable skeleton
  • decrease his risk of injury and makes daily activities easier
  • creates muscle definition giving you a sculpted look

Aerobics exercise is not enough

Running or other aerobic exercise is not a sufficient replacement for resistance training aerobic exercise does not delivered necessary stress to your bones muscles and tendons which is required for muscle growth and increases in strength.  The truth is that you need both resistance training and aerobic exercise, neglecting one will do your body a great disservice. However you can make resistance training aerobic when done properly this is the best way to achieve optimum results
